Bin Drai played a great
match today against Habtoor Polo with a tough victory by 6 goals to 5. It was a
game played with a lot of intensity, with both teams making great efforts to win
the game.
In the end slightly
better team work and accuracy that saw the Bin Drai outfit home. Saeed Bin Drai
scored the first goal within the first thirty seconds and his team never looked
back although Habtoor Polo certainly kept the pressure on them.
Zedan were in the second game
and they finally achieved their first victory of the tournament by defeating
Abu Dhabi by 10 goals to 9. They have been threatening this for a long time as
they have had bad luck in the extra chukka but on Monday they just avoided that
ordeal with the winning goal coming in the last 30 seconds of the match and was
scored by Mariano Uranga.
