In an exciting final Bin Drai Polo won the Scapa Navy Final with a defeat of the Liberia Polo team. They won by 5 goals to 3.5 and after a slow start were always comfortable. In an exciting game to watch they just had too much strength.
In the subsidiary final Dr A Polo saw off F2Z Polo in the tightest of games by 5-4. The advantage went backwards and forwards and in the end Dr A held their nerve.
The day was opened by the a friendly sponsored by Martin McColl between two teams from the Dubai Equestrian and Polo Club. They shared the game with a four all draw.
IT was an excellent day and the large crowd thoroughly enjoyed the action.
